Nema Labs and Tilera announce partnership

Nema Labs and Tilera are happy to announce a partnership to promote the tools ecosystem for multicore platforms.

Nema Labs has developed a tools technology called FASThread that short-cuts much of the time needed to craft correct parallel code out of sequential C/C++ to realize the performance potential of multicore systems. Nema Labs was founded in 2007 and is a spin-out from Chalmers University of Technology.

Tilera is the industry leader in highly scalable general purpose multicore processors for networking, wireless, multimedia and cloud applications. The distributed nature, of Tilera's revolutionary architecture, and the standards-based tools, including ANSI C/C++ compiler, GNU tools and Eclipse IDE, deliver an unprecedented combination of performance, power efficiency and programming flexibility.
